The EndoArt could provide a paradigm shift in the treatment of patients with endothelial failure while eliminating the need for human donor tissue.

I’m grateful…to take first steps towards eliminating the global shortage of corneal tissue

The EndoArt® is a critical step forward as the ideal solution for the problem of corneal failure as an “on the shelf” solution for almost every ophthalmic surgeon, not only corneal specialist.

The introduction of EndoArt, which serves as an artificial layer reducing the fluid transfer from the aqueous to the corneal stroma, is a huge step forward.

The proportion of patients achieving a significant improvement in CCT and BCVA was greater in the therapeutic Hyper-CL group. In addition, the therapeutic Hyper-CL group had a greater improvement in mean BCVA and mean CCT.

I was able to try the Hyper-CL™ in a patient with a corneal melt, significant corneal edema, and Serratia infectious keratitis. The result was dramatic. The patient had resolution within a week with complete resolution of the patient’s AC inflammation/hypopyon.  The epithelium was completely healed, and the infiltrate was almost completely resolved.  Usually, these are long courses that take an average of 2 weeks to resolve.

The concept of using a novel drug repository contact lens is effective in prolonging corneal antimicrobial availability and drug contact time over the lesion and has demonstrated faster corneal healing, which may affect the overall outcomes in bacterial keratitis. Using a drug depo contact lens, may reduce the regimen of antibiotics, decrease treatment burden on the medical staff, improve patient tolerance, and reduce toxicities.

Upon Hyper CL™ insertion, as well as hyperosmotic saline application, patients were extremely surprised to find a significant sight improvement, emphasizing the high level of excitement and significance those patients were experiencing.

Excellent results for our first patient. Patient and I satisfied with outcome. His Visual acuity improved from 20/200- to 20/60+.

I used lens for bullous keratopathy with excellent result. Corneal condition improves and then visual acuity too. I am excited to use more.
